Not all olive oils are created equal. Our extra virgin olive oil is made from hand-picked olives from our producer's family groves in Crete — one of the world's oldest olive regions, where the tradition of cultivating and pressing olives dates back many generations.

The olive oil has a high nutritional content and a distinctive taste; our producer uses an olive variety called Koroneiki olives.

Blomst&Bi – harmony with nature

Ecology and sustainability are a good starting point for avoiding food with pesticide residues and synthetic additives. The soil around organic farming and organic products is clean and rich soil. According to the National Organic Association, “studies show, among other things, that there are an average of 30 percent more wild plant and animal species in and around organic fields, that the more years a farm is run organically, the more butterflies there are, and that there are more wild bees on areas where pesticides are not used. Bees transport pollen from flower to flower and ensure that the plants are fertilized.”
