About Flower&Bee

Blomst&Bi (Flower&Bee) was started by a small group of Danes and Japanese to increase trade in organic products between Denmark/Europe and Japan. This webshop is for you who want to support our project and who love organic produce. We want to open the eyes of the Japanese to organic products and inspire Danes with quality goods from Japan. In the flower and the bee, we see a reference to summer, nature, and joy. There is the reference to the creation of life. And then there is the serious reference to the threat of climate change and pollution. The red color unites our countries, Denmark and Japan, refers to organic products, and is also a color that warns and reminds us that we must do something for our climate and environment.

Our products

We are an organic select shop. This means we primarily sell organic products that we find fantastic ourselves. Our products come from Denmark, Europe, and Japan. In Denmark, we are far advanced in organic production, while in Japan, it is in an early stage, and we want to support Japanese producers with a focus on organic products by importing and selling their products here in Denmark.

This applies to our own products and products from our suppliers. We carefully select our producers and suppliers and strive to use natural materials of the highest quality, but we cannot always get the products organically, and in some cases, there are fantastic products that for one reason or another are not yet organically certified. Therefore, not all products on this site are organic, but one thing is for sure: they are selected based on both taste and values.

Harmony with nature and the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The phrase “Harmony with nature” is a principle of harmonious and holistic coexistence between humanity and nature. It is part of our mission to focus on how we can be more in harmony with the environment we live in. How we can all contribute to a better world that does not burden our planet.

Blomst&Bi takes small steps, but thinks about the steps we take. The Sustainable Development Goals can only be realized through strong global commitment and cooperation, and we would like to contribute to that.
