Yamaroku Tsuru Bisho Soy Sauce 500 ml.
Tsurubishio is Yamaroku's flagship series of soy sauces and is aged the longest, for 3-5 years.
"Tsuru" means "crane" and "Bishio" means "seasoning."
In Japan, cranes are considered auspicious birds and symbolize longevity. It is said that the cranes' song can reach the heavens, and Yamaroku wishes for this soy sauce to be like the cranes, able to reach the heavens and be known by all.
Tsurubishio is characterized by a rich, mild flavor and is recommended for use in sushi, sashimi, tofu, grilled fish, and as a secret ingredient in original dishes.
This soy sauce is made using the traditional and authentic method of fermenting Japanese seasonings since ancient times, using Japanese wooden barrels called kioke. Due to modern mass production of soy sauce, only 1% of the total soy sauce production in Japan uses this traditional method. Get a taste of Japanese history that was almost lost in modern times by trying and enjoying this classic blend of seasonings, made correctly.
